“The circuit is genuinely challenging. It’s designed to let people test their scoring ability,
so it’s not focused on fitness alone. Anyone can have a go, and it’s great craic.
The simulated surfing is one of the best activities, because that’s something people
mightn’t ordinarily get to try.”
Ronan O'Gara Ireland Grand Slam Rugby Hero.
"The concept is great because it's focused on skill rather than strength or fitness.
There's a challenge built in and you can make it as competitive as you like or just
enjoy the buzz of trying something new."
Eric Elwood Ireland U-20 Rugby Coach
“This is the first complex of its kind in the world and as such, it’s another great first
for Galway. In addition, Pure Skill provides people with a very healthy, sports-based
social outlet and promotes activity and exercise which is very important in this era
of the obesity epidemic.”
Padraig Conneely- Mayor of Galway 2009
"Pure Skill has something for everyone and is a great addition to Galway's tourist
offering. Pure Skill offers positive recreational activites for all of the community
and is a great sign of Ireland's passion for Enterprise"
Eamon O Cuiv Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
