Twelve baseballs are pitched from the Master pitching machine at an average speed of 50MPH every 9 seconds! A life size LED display of a pitcher signals to the competitor when the machine is ready to pitch. The objective for the competitor is to swing the baseball bat and make contact with the baseball. The competitor will stand in the marked area based on whether they are right or left handed. A Pure Skill supplied baseball helmet must be worn for this skill test. The swipe card technology signals the machine to begin pitching the twelve baseballs. The scoring system is 1 point for a hit forward and zero for a miss. Balls are collected automatically via the sloped floors and an automated conveyor system returns the baseballs to the machine hopper
All circuit based skill tests are completely enclosed with tubular steel surrounds and reinforced netting to ensure that all balls are kept within the skill set. The floors are all in Astroturf.
